All Villa West students adhere by a dress code. "As a soccer player does not play without shin guards and cleats, and a swimmer does not swim without a swin suit, a dancer does not dance without proper shoes and attire."

A dress code ensures that a teacher will be able to see a dancer's alignment and positioning. Leotard & tights are a must for girls; fitted T-shirts & dance athletic pants for young men.

A dress code is part of the art and demonstrates students discipline, helping with overall focus and energy. By "dressing the part," dancers feel like dancers. Our dress code enables dancers to be modest and versatile, qiuckly transforming from one style to another.
